ThermocousTex is an environmentally and people friendly polyester board or mat, that is used for acoustic absorption as well as thermal insulation in the building sector. The ability to combine both of these properties equally well; is what positions ThermocousTex above other products used in the same application.

The properties and applications of ThermocousTex have been thoroughly evaluated to ensure a high standard of quality and performance. ThermocousTex products are well suited to various industrial and commercial applications such as Airports, Railway stations, sound studios, auditoriums, Shopping malls, schools and universities, office and residential blocks as well as Hotels.

Due to the fact that ThermocousTex is manufactured from recycled Polyester or natural fibers such as Kenaf, fitting the product does not require any protective clothing or breathing apparatus. Installation procedures are quick, clean and labor friendly and range from skimmed and suspended ceilings to over purlin application as well as dry and cavity walls.

ThermocousTex is the first thermal and acoustic ceiling product to be verified ‘green’ by Eco-Specifier South Africa. This makes the product an ideal candidate for inclusion in construction projects aimed to achieve a Green Star Rating.
